Our Blessed Desaru Trip

This june, we went to Desaru for our june holiday, we thot of just go relax, relax and do nothing much, but it turned out to be a truly Blessed and educational trip. It was an eye-opening experience for the kids and adults too.
Our 1st visit was to some real kampongs there, we who lived in the city , has never been or seen any kampongs.

This the inside of the kampong house, it's a real house not those for exhibition only. People actually live there.

When we visit the kampong, we must also try some kampong dishes, yum yum......=]P

Before eating must always remember to wash hands.

See how we enjoyed the yummy food.

This fridge is an extinct "Singer" brand fridge.

This is one the bedrooms in the house, after visiting the kampong, I really Thank God for the house that I currently live in.

Our 2nd destination, was to the Fruit Farm, over here I've learnt alot and get to see some of my favourite fruits growing on the trees, cos I normally see them in super market.

Look at this tree behind us, it's a banana tree, according to the guide, there are 1000 bananas growing on it.

This is a water apple or u can called it "jumboo", this is a special "jumboo" cos it has a seed in it, normal "jumboo" dosen't has any seed.

This is dragon fruit, this is how it grows.

Wonder what fruit is this, make a guess.

This is the noni fruit, u remember the Hawaiian noni, this is the one, mind u this fruit is really stinky, we nearly faint when the guide open the fruit for us to smell.

In the fruit farm they also keep bees, to make honey for them to sell, the guide also showed us how the bee work, and what to do when being chased by bees.

We also visited the fireflies farm, I think this is my favourite. This is my very 1st time seeing fireflies, not only we get to see thousands of them, we also get to catch them and keep them, but before that we need to wear our life jackets, cos we be on boats to the mangrove to see fireflies. My daddy tried very hard to take photo of the fire flies, but it all turn out to be black, can’t see at all =[
But we do have a great fun!

The beaches here were beautiful and rather clean, I love coming to the beach.

See, my lovely sandcastle.

We love coming to the pool after our breakfast, we enjoyed sliding down the slide with many different positions.

We were also very blessed to stay in this hotel, where they have this beautiful play room, we'll just come over to play whenever we're back to the hotel.

the hotel is - The Pulai Desaru Beach Hotel. it's a very family hotel, cos they've got play room for kids, the swimming pool is also very children friendly, u can go there then book for the activities, if possible, u can even drive there urself to the farms, it's very much cheaper. but to note is that the hotel is not a 5 stars hotel, it's rather like a resort type, but overall quite nice. they've also got some other interesting farms which we didn't visit.
